Wyndham Worldwide Corporation PRovides various hospitality products and services to individual consumers and business customers. It oPErates in three segments: Lodging, Vacation Exchange and Rentals, and Vacation Ownership. The Lodging segment franchises hotels in the upscale, middle, and economy segments of the lodging industry, as well as provides property management services to owners of these hotels. As of DeCEMber 31, 2007, it owned approxIMately 6,500 franchised hotels, which represented 550,000 rooms. The Vacation Exchange and Rentals segment provides vacation exchange products and services to owners of intervals of vacation ownership interests; and markets vacation rental properties primarily on behalf of independent owners. Its aCCOmmoDATions include hotel rooms and suites, villas, cOTTages, bungalows, campgrounds, vacation ownership condominiums, CITy apartments, second homes, fractional private residences, luxury destination clubs, and yACHts. The Vacation Ownership segment markets and sells vacation ownership interests to individual consumers; offers consumer financing in connection with the sale of vacation ownership interests; and provides property management services at resorts. As of DeceMBer 31, 2007, it developed or acquired approximately 145 vacation ownership resorts in the United States, Canada, MexICO, the Caribbean, and the South PaCIFic that represented approximately 18,000 individual vacation ownership units and 800,000 owners of vacation ownership interests. The company offers its products and services under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, RAMAda, Days Inn, Super 8, TripRewards, RCI, The Registry Collection, Endless Vacation Rentals, Landal GreenParks, English Country Cottages, Novasol, Wyndham Vacation Resorts, and WorlDMark by Wyndham brand names. It markets its products and services in the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia, and internationally. The company is headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey.
